The NSEOC offers the following courses and degree programs:
- NSCI 200: Scientific Inquiry in Educational Settings – If you are curious about becoming a science educator and like a hands-on experienced-based approach, this course will let you test the waters with no prerequisites.
- NSCI 696G: Engaging Students with Authentic Scientific Research Experiences – Monthly evening teacher professional development workshops during the fall and spring semesters and open to CSU students.
- Bachelor of Science in Natural Sciences degree – CSU has an undergraduate degree that allows students to combine a science degree with licensure in order to teach secondary science in Colorado.
- Master of Natural Science Education degree – CSU has a distance graduate program for science teachers that combines science content and pedagogy. It includes hands-on lab experiences that the NSEOC coordinates with the faculty for all of the classes.
