Associate Director of the Center for Science, Mathematics & Technology Education at Colorado State University, 2004 – 2009.
Dr. Kennedy is a University Distinguished Teaching Scholar and took over leadership of the Center for Learning and Teaching in the West grant at CSU when Dr. Geary left. In addition to mentoring doctoral students, he coordinated numerous mathematics teacher professional development workshops in conjunction with Texas Instruments and various text book publishers and pioneered new approaches to the on-line mathematics program of the Pre-calculus Center (formerly the PACe Center) at CSU.
Dr. Kennedy retired from Colorado State University in 2017 and became an Emeritus Faculty member in the Department of Mathematics.
